Wesizwe’s primary business objective is to build a high quality mine on the Frischgewaagd-Ledig Complex. In an effort to consolidate and rationalise projects adjacent to and near our core project area, Wesizwe shareholders approved Project Delta which involved the acquisition of Rustenburg Platinum Mine’s 37% interest in the Western Bushveld Joint Venture (WBJV). The transaction simplifies the ownership structure for both the Frischgewaagd-Ledig project and the WBJV. Wesizwe will have 100% of its core project (up from a beneficial 68%) while retaining its 26% stake in the Western Bushveld Joint Venture. |
