(PTM-TSX; PLG-AMEX) announces results from the Independent Update to the Feasibility Study for the Project 1 Platinum mine of the Western Bushveld Joint Venture (“WBJV”) in South Africa. Platinum Group Metals Ltd holds a 74% interest in the WBJV and Wesizwe Platinum (WEZ-JSE) holds a 26% interest.

This Competent Person’s Report Executive Summary (“CPRXS”) has been prepared by Mineral Corporation
Consultancy (Pty) Limited (“The Mineral Corporation”) for inclusion in full in documentation to be published
by Wesizwe Platinum Limited (“Wesizwe”). The Mineral Corporation was instructed by the Directors of
Wesizwe to prepare a full Competent Person’s Report as well as this CPRXS of the Pilanesberg Project
(“Project”) Mineral Reserves based on the Mineral Resources dated June 2007 completed by The Mineral
Corporation and the Feasibility Study (“FS”) completed by TWP Consulting (Pty) Limited (“TWP”).
